It is not a booking engine. There is no calendar, no inventory and no checkout path on these pages. The guide does not confirm rooms, quote conditions of stay or mediate between a reader and a property. When a detail matters for a decision, the path forward is the official listing linked from that property's card.
It is also not a ranking board. Catalog pages group entries by angle — city walking context, or a rotating featured set — without claiming that one property outranks another. Order on a page is editorial organisation, not a scoreboard.

Names and marks appear because they identify real businesses. Their use here is descriptive. Ownership of those names remains with their respective rights holders, and nothing on this site should be read as partnership, sponsorship or endorsement by those businesses.
Independence also means the guide can say what it is not. It does not speak for front desks, marketing teams or reservation systems. If an entry feels incomplete, that is often because the guide refuses to invent amenities, counts or awards that were not supplied as fixed facts.

Each venue card carries one photograph, the property name exactly as supplied, its city and province, a short description written from the available facts, and a button to the official listing page. Category and star class, when provided, sit in the descriptive layer rather than as decorative badges meant to sell.
Descriptions stay within what the data allows: lodging type, setting tags such as downtown, resort, countryside or mountain, and the place itself. The guide does not invent restaurant names, spa facilities, room inventories or renovation years. Where a fact is absent, the prose simply does not claim it.
Surroundings are treated as part of the stay. A downtown casino hotel is read against streets and city rhythm; a countryside resort is read against open land; a mountain property is framed by highland approaches. That geographic reading is intentional and kept plain.
